How the department works

Safety built into the preparation.

How training and field planning become part of the work itself.

Safety as part of project preparation

Blume’s safety leadership works with the people planning and carrying out construction. Training, field planning and awareness of hazards belong in the preparation for the work, alongside the scope and schedule.

Practical training topics

Training topics include OSHA 10- and 30-hour classes, fall protection, ladder safety, crane and rigging safety, equipment operator and forklift training, and first aid and CPR. The team can discuss the training records and requirements for your project.

Plan the field work

Site assessments, sequencing and communication help identify the conditions the installation team will encounter. Field planning and proactive hazard recognition help connect preparation with the work taking place on site.

Recognition in the company’s history

In 2017, Blume received a Commitment to Safety Award from FFVA Mutual. Contact the team for the safety documentation required for your project.
