Mechanical systems. Built around care.
Healthcare mechanical design coordination and construction for the infrastructure behind hospitals and clinical facilities. Blume connects estimating, engineering partners, CAD, in-house fabrication and field installation in Central Florida.
Hospital HVAC, plumbing and piping
A hospital project brings multiple mechanical systems into the same building, schedule and work areas. Air distribution, plumbing, piping and medical gas scope need to be understood together. Blume’s healthcare focus connects the people preparing the drawings with the shop and the crews installing the work.
Design coordination before installation
Engineering partners support design review and permitting. Blume’s engineering/CAD department develops workable coordinated drawings, allowing space for equipment, distribution and the other trades. Early coordination gives the estimating, fabrication and project teams a shared basis for the work.
From model to fabrication to field
The in-house sheet metal shop connects CAD drawings with automated coil-line and plasma-cutting equipment. Project-specific ductwork and components are prepared for the installation team. Project management connects purchasing, material preparation, field communication and the construction schedule.
Plan around the facility
For an expansion, renovation or new facility, start with the project’s mechanical scope and operating constraints. Existing-system interfaces, access, shutdown windows, installation sequence and closeout requirements belong in the early conversation with the owner, design team and construction partners. Requirements are established for each project.
Healthcare experience in Central Florida
Blume Mechanical participated in the AdventHealth Tampa expansion that introduced the Taneja Surgery Center in 2021. Our company was founded in 2005 and is based in Clearwater. Talk with the team about relevant experience and the defined scope of your next healthcare project.

Before we build.
Discuss the project requirements directly with the Blume team.
Does Blume handle both coordination and construction?
Blume connects conceptual estimating, engineering/CAD coordination, in-house sheet metal fabrication, installation and project management. Engineering partners support design review and permitting.
Which healthcare mechanical systems can we discuss?
Discuss HVAC and air distribution, plumbing, piping and specialized medical gas scope with the team. The project requirements and Blume’s proposed responsibilities are established during scope review.
